With the development of power system, the electric equipments of substation will achieve the seamless communication based on Ethernet and it will be digital,intelligent and network. Information of protection and control in substation require higher real-time, especially when the system runs with the heavy load. IEC 61850 proposes real-time communication using GOOSE message, but doesn't mention the specific way embedded devices about GOOSE message realization in embedded devices. At the same time,as studying GOOSE message depthly, GOOSE messages application in the power system will become more and more important.In addition, with the smart grid development, GOOSE message security issues become increasingly prominent,to meet real time and the same time to ensure security of GOOSE messages is an implementation problem. For the above problems, the paper has the relevant research in the following aspects:(1)Through analysis related technologies of IEC61850 and real-time technology of GOOSE messages , this paper realized GOOSE message sent and received in the embedded system by rewriting driver of CS8900 network card.(2)Wind farm systems presented some unique challenges for protection. Ground faults on feeders will result in unfaulted phase voltages rising to line levels and transient over voltages can be produced, which can degrade insulation, resulting in eventual equipment failure.This paper focused on the particular problem of feeder ground faults. A novel, yet simple solution is presented that makes use of a peer-to-peer fast message - GOOSE message. It designed and implemented information and communication model of the Wind-Turbine- Generator (WTG) IED . And it simulated the ground fault of wind power by PSCAD software. Finally communication module is focused on the design of the protection program. By analyzing performance of GOOSE message,we know that wind turbine equipment can be avoided damage using GOOSE message ,which is a good solution of the ground fault .(3)This paper research the GOOSE message application on on-line interlocking and reservation interlocking in the digital substation.Then it analyzes the whole process from automatic export interlocking rules to interlocking function realization, and design interlocking implementation model through three core database .And it design the methods of reservation interlocking implementation.The interactive collaboration of interlocking information by GOOSE message is analyzed detailly. As well as it discussed VLAN and multicast address configuration of GOOSE message. Finally, the feasibility of the paper design is verified by simulation experiments of interlocking communication.(4) According to security issues of GOOSE message,this paper focused on the security GOOSE(generic object oriented substation event) message realization including GOOSE message frame structure, ANS.1 encoding format,SCL configuration, and design of security authentication process. Then it do the experiment simulation about security authentication.The results show that the method of security interlocking designed in this paper is not only meetting the security needs of CSCTG about the internal control system in substations, but also followsing IEC62351 standard. Therefore ,it is significant for solution of the GOOSE messages security issues in digital substation.
