| Yantai is a city that lacks water resources in the eastern coastal area of China.As a special component land in the city,the construction of sponge campus can produce a huge demonstration and leading role for the society,especially in the context of the vigorous construction of a sponge city promoted by the nation.On the other hand,campus waterlogging is frequent and the water pollution is a problem.Therefore,the construction of sponge campus is very necessary.Firstly,the paper introduces sponge city,sponge campus,the theories of rainwater management of home and abroad.Then,according to the natural geography,social development status of Yantai and the basic situation of the school,the present situation of rainwater pipe network and the phenomenon of rain waterlogging in the campus of Yantai University were specifically analyzed.And the reasons for waterlogging were revealed.Through the investigation and analysis of the campus water usage structure and water consumption,it can be conclude that campus uses a large amount of water and it still has a great use of rainwater.By collating and analyzing the rainfall data from 2007 to 2016 in Yantai,the characteristics of annual rainfall,monthly average rainfall,and rainfall patterns were obtained.The constructions of sponge campus could make full use of rainwater resources,regulate the distribution of rainfall time and decrease peak flow.Secondly,the quality of rain runoff on different surfaces of the Yantai University campus was tested and analyzed.The results showed that the rainwater quality on different underlying surfaces changed similarly with the rainfall time.The early rainwater had poor water quality.The rainwater quality changes with the rainfall time.And after a period of time,the degree of pollution is significantly reduced and the rainwater quality tends to be stable.The degree of pollution on the road surface is more serious than that on the roof.The rainwater can be collected and used after being simply treated with low-impact development measures.And it can be used as miscellaneous water,green water,landscape water and toilet flush water.Finally,taking a representative dormitory and teaching area as examples,the design of low-impact development measures was carried out,and the SWMM model was used to evaluate the effectiveness of the scheme.The results show that this scheme can achieve a total runoff controlling target of 85%.In addition,it has also conducted a benefit analysis and has good economic,environmental,and social benefits.The conclusion shows that the construction of sponge campus conforming to the development requirements of the society and the campus,has a positive role in enhancing the overall service function of the ecosystem and constituting a complete functional system of the water system.It can effectively utilize rainwater resources,reduce peak flood flows,and mitigate the occurrence of rampant floods on campus.At the same time,building a sponge campus has good environmental,economic and social benefits. |
