In recent years, with the process of city development, city impervious area increased greatly, followed in the city waterlogging, water resources shortage,non-point source pollution problems. To establish the sponge city sustainable development and construction of the city is the main direction to solve the problem of waterlogging in the new period. The university is an important part of the city,as a special social system, has a high population density, functional zoning, similar characteristics and city planning,so the research of sponge campus on campus, application of advanced concepts and standardized management in the comprehensive utilization of rainwater will play a leading role. This paper makes a literature about the comprehensive utilization of rainwater at home and abroad, expounds the rainwater utilization and low impact relationship between the related concepts, the development of the theory and the combination of domestic and foreign research, the present situation of campus rainwater utilization in China and the lack of analysis of outstanding cases of comprehensive utilization of campus rainwater. The comprehensive utilization of rainwater in campus and low impact development technology combine research with demonstration and exploration of nature. This topic in the campus of Shenyang Construction University as the research object,in Shenyang City, rainfall characteristics, water quantity and water inside the campus situation analysis, construction of campus rainwater runoff model, the concept of campus construction of campus rainwater sponge comprehensive utilization of landscape planning and overall pattern of specific rainwater utilization based on the application of SWMM model in simulation of planning and evaluation of its effectiveness. This thesis is divided into 6 chapters:The first chapter introduces the background of the topic, the domestic and foreign related research to further understand the theoretical origin, research content and framework, research methods and means,as well as the innovation of the research. The second chapter introduces the low impact development and rainwater utilization theory of landscape, and analyzes its design methods and related technologies;combined with related theoretical research, analysis of the typical case of rainwater comprehensive utilization at home and abroad in Colleges and universities. The third chapter analyzes the characteristics of precipitation in Shenyang city;current situation and existing problems combined with the investigation and analysis of the relevant data of the Shenyang Construction University Park profile and surface runoff infiltration regularity properties, runoff and park runoff, drainage system and campus, campus landscape, rainwater utilization potential analysis. The fourth chapter of campus rainwater collection and storage system using infiltration, storage, collection, centralized decentralized supplemented by the use of "low effect of rainwater utilization pattern.According to the campus function zoning of the catchment area, aiming at the existing problems and the corresponding planning of rainwater utilization landscape planning of regional rainwater management. In the fifth chapter the model of campus rainwater runoff is constructed by using the simulated software of SWMM rainwater runoff.Using the model to simulate and analyze the effect of the comprehensive utilization of rainwater in the campus of Shenyang Construction University, the economic benefit, ecological benefit and social benefit evaluation. The sixth chapter summarizes the research conclusion, points out the defects and shortcomings of this paper, and makes reasonable suggestions on the comprehensive utilization of rainwater in the university campus in the future.
