The replaceable unit is an important part of spare parts of torpedo.A reasonable allocation of replaceable units for torpedo is a vital factor in ensuring the operational effectiveness of the torpedo. At present, the number of replaceable units for torpedo is usually allocated empirically or in an equal-proportioning allocation, which is likely to result in a mismatch between the spare parts allocation and the actual requirements. In this paper,a single-objective model and a multi-objective model of the replaceable units allocation for torpedo are firstly established. Then the marginal effect optimization algorithm, genetic algorithm and the improved multi-objective genetic algorithm(NSGA-?)are applied to solve the different optimization problems, respectively. Finally, the replaceable units for head sections of torpedo are taken as an example to verify the proposed models and algorithms. The specific research content and achievements of this paper are as follows:(1)The influence of each factor on the allocation and the mathematical relationship between different factors are analyzed. Then, the models of the satisfaction rate, the utilization rate and the cost of replaceable units are derived.(2)By setting the maximization of the utilization rate as the object,a single-objective model is established for the replaceable units allocation.Considering the mutual restriction between satisfaction rate and utilization rate,a multi-objective model of replaceable units allocation is also established where the cost is set as the constraint.(3)The single-objective problem of the replaceable unit allocation in non-repairable case is solved by the marginal effect algorithm. However, the marginal return value cannot always maintain a positive value. Therefore,a genetic algorithm is used to solve the single-objective allocation problem in the repairable case.(4)In order to avoid the unwanted rapid convergence and local optimization the multi-objective genetic algorithm NSGA-? is improved.Specifically, the number of the excellent individuals is limited, new virtual fitness values are introduced, the dynamic constrains is used, and the single-objective evaluation function is developed. Then, the improved NSGA-? algorithm is applied to solve the multi-objective optimization problem of the replaceable units allocation.(5)Finally,Based on the previous research results, the allocation of the replaceable units for torpedo is taken as an example to verify the proposed method. The results show that the proposed method is able to optimize the allocation, and the resulting scheme is reasonable and effective.
