With the development of virtual reality technology,there is more and more demand for the simulation device of multi-freedom movement.For example,the sports simulator used to train car drivers and racing games.At present,most of the prototype of the simulator is the Stewart institution,and its installation and commissioning involves many parameters and the process needs to be improved.The movement of the design scenario simulation is applied to the driving device,is used by Stewart variants are 6-SPS parallel mechanism,its good manufacturability,compact structure,and can be applied to modern industrial and game entertainment,education,teaching and other occasions.Based on existing research results,the prototype of driving simulator with independent intellectual property is designed.the device is mainly composed of motion platform,fixed platform and parallel connection form between the six SPS movement between the two branched chain.The six SPS chains were divided into three groups according to the number of 3?2 and 1,and the three groups were orthogonal to each other.In this paper,we analyze the dissociation of the mechanism position,use the space boundary point search method,obtain the motion space of the simulation device,and draw the three-dimensional boundary diagram of the motion space.Use of movement and force transmission performance,combining movement space volume as evaluation index,the structure size parameters of the simulator are analyzed the impact on the evaluation index,a set of reasonable system parameters is given.Established the dynamic model of the device,the use of Lagrange dynamics equation and the explicit expression of the kinetics equations of the device,designed the virtual prototype,virtual prototype model is established,using the ADAMS simulation software to simulate the prototype model,the performance curve of the simulator was obtained.The results show that the driving simulator designed in this paper is feasible and provides a theoretical basis for the research and development of this product.According to the design scheme of this paper,a prototype of driving simulator is developed.
