With the gradual increase of national investment in compulsory education,the quality education is prevailing and education system of primary and secondary schools including the educational model,ideas and methods have changed,which puts forward higher requirements to the construction of primary and secondary schools.At the same time,the urban construction land is insufficient,the population is increasing year by year and the enrollment scale of the school-age students is increasing in our country,which leads to the new contradictions in the construction of the primary and secondary schools.On one hand,there are contradictions between the demand of the growth of basic education and the campus construction land.On the other hand,there are contradictions between new requirements which social development puts forward to basic education and the existing campus space.Under the condition of limited construction land,it is particularly important to explore ways how to realize efficient and reasonable campus function organization,space design and traffic organization to meet the needs of the development of basic education and the needs of social development.Based on the design practice project of the riverfront primary and secondary schools in Nanjing South Railway station,this paper makes an in-depth study on its function,space and traffic by introducing integrated design concept.The paper includes two parts,which are the drawings of the practical project and the discussion section.Section 1: The introduction first outlines the research background of the subject,and defines the research object,the aim,meaning,the content,the method,present situation and research frame of the research.Section 2: Based on the research results of the present situation of the construction of primary and secondary schools,this paper sums up the problems of the construction land shortage,the campus function layout,the space design and the traffic organization.Section 3: Based on the development of primary and secondary schools,this paper introduces the concept of integrated design to the present situation of campus construction,and expounds the connotation of integrated design.The author thinks the integrated design concept can bring the advantages of multiple functions,diverse space design and diverse traffic network and so on.Section 4: On the basis of theoretical analysis,the paper summarizes the design strategies of primary and secondary schools from the three aspects of campus function,space and traffic,combining with the excellent architectural design examples at home and abroad.Section 5: Based on the project design practice of the Binghe primary and secondary school in Nanjing South Station,the paper focuses on the application of the design process and the related strategy of the compound design.Finally,the thesis summarizes the research conclusions and evaluates the innovation points and deficiencies of the thesis.
