Study On Urban Renewal Machanism In Hong Kong Under The High Density Background

At present,the major cities turned their eyes on urban renewal to solve the limit of urban development.Hong Kong has formed a high-density development environment under the influence of subjective factors such as mountainous a reas,large population and objective factors,such as the land system and economic environment.Under the background of high density with prominent human-to-land conflicts,the highly liberal market economy system and the democratic social environment have made the issue of urban renewal in Hong Kon g more complicated.In recent years,Hong Kong's high-density decayed areas are facing two challenges,one is lack of economy innovation,the other is slow pace of reconstruction.Through continuous improvement,Hong Kong has formed an urban renewal mechanism that can well adapt to the high density environment,which can provide some inspiring experience and noteworthy lessons.This study will explore the urban renewal mechanism in Hong Kong from four aspects: basic environmental factors,organizational framework,implementation measures and support system.The basic research section will analyze the special environmental background of the urban renewal in Hong Kong,and focus on the characteristics of Hong Kong's high-density old area.And will sum up the main reasons for the formation of the urban renewal mechanism in Hong Kong under the impact of high-density built environment.The logic of the main part of the study will focus on the meaning of the mechanism.Firstly will analyze the basic structure of the urban renewal mechanism in Hong Kong.Starting from the basic demands of the four participants and the roles they played,the analysis sums up the organization and operation process of three urban renewal ways.Secondly,the implementation of Hong Kong urban renewal mechanism will be studied.The implementation measures in three urban renewal ways will be explored,combined with relevant data,professional interviews and practice cases to assess the implementation of urban renewal in Hong Kong.Finally,the support system will explore how legal,planning and funding parts to ensure the smooth progress of urban renewal activities,and further explore the advantages and disadvantages of them.Under the high-density background,the key point of urban renewal mechanism in Hong Kong is to stimulate the development potential and enhance the rate of renewal of old districts.As a result,Hong Kong forms a framework for the urban renewal mechanism,which has strengthened government intervention and effective cooperation with three new ways.On this basis,all participants participate in the process of urban renewal through detailed implementation measures,and meet the renewal challenge caused by the high-density old areas through the cooperation of law,planning and capital,to realize the efficient operation of urban renewal.
