Since China's reform and opening up,the eastern coastal cities of the Pearl River Delta have received a large number of Hong Kong investment and industrial transfer and the cities have developed rapidly,because of their geographical location close to Hong Kong.However,due to the traffic obstacles,the development of cities in the West Bank has lagged behind.The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is a direct transportation hub between Hong Kong,Macao and Zhuhai.The passage of the bridge breaks the gap between the West Bank cities and Hong Kong,and has a certain impact on the surrounding cities.At the same time,on February 18 th,2019,the State Council issued the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Development Plan,pointing out that it is necessary to give full play to the comprehensive advantages of Guangdong,Hong Kong and Macao,deepen cooperation between the mainland and Hong Kong and Macao,and give full play to the role of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.In addition,we will construct an Axis Zone of Regional Economic Development and create World-class Urban agglomeration.In this paper,the shortest time distance between cities of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area is calculated by ARCGIS,and the average weighted travel time is used as the evaluation index to analyze the changes of urban accessibility and inter-city accessibility in the bay area before and after the opening of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.By constructing the evaluation index system of urban comprehensive quality,the index weight and the comprehensive quality value of bay area city from 2007 to 2017 are calculated,and the grey prediction model is used to predict the urban comprehensive quality of bay area in the future.Based on the optimized urban attraction model and potential model,the changes of attraction and urban potential between cities before and after the opening of the bridge are analyzed.The results show that:(1)The influence on Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area's traffic accessibility.The influence on the urban accessibility of the bay area: making the bay area connect into a circular traffic network,to a certain extent,improves the urbanaccessibility of the bay area.The accessibility of cities is gradually decreasing from south to north,and the accessibility of Hong Kong,Macao and Zhuhai is the most obvious.The influence on the accessibility between cities in the bay area: the imbalance in the promotion of accessibility between cities,the improvement in accessibility between cities in Zhuhai and Shenzhen,Macao and Shenzhen,Zhuhai and Hong Kong,Macao and Hong Kong is the most obvious.Among the other cities,the accessibility increased by a small or no change.The opening of the bridge expands the 1-hour and 2-hour traffic circle in the bay area,and reduces the 3-hour traffic circle.(2)The influence on the urban spatial structure of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.Before the opening of the bridge,the attraction between cities in the bay area was weak,and the attraction between cities on both sides of the Pearl River was insufficient.Hong Kong had the largest urban attraction,and the core position of Hong Kong,Guangzhou and Shenzhen was obvious.There is a big gap between the two sides of the east and west sides of the city potential,and the potential of the east bank city is obviously larger than that of the west bank city.After the bridge is opened,the links between the cities on the east and west sides of the Pearl River are enhanced,and the attraction of Hong Kong extends towards the west side of the Bay Area,which will further strengthen the connection with the West Bank cities through Zhuhai.Four cities in Guangzhou-Shenzhen are formed with radiation polar nuclei,and the urban potential of Zhuhai is rising continuously,while Dongguan and Foshan are decreasing,which makes Zhuhai city potential ranking more than Dongguan and Foshan.
