Design And Implementation Of Wireless Gateway In Intelligent Home

In recent years,the development of computer-related technology has promoted the transformation of intelligent home.ZigBee network as a wireless sensor network,in the intelligent home system has been widely used.The intelligent devices which use WiFi to connnect internet,has become a common control terminal in intelligent home.ZigBee-WiFi gateways are particularly important for enabling WiFi networks and ZigBee networks to communicate with each other.Gateway in the intelligent home connects two kind of network,and is the center of information exchange.This paper implements the ZigBee-WiFi gateway in a more economical way.In the embedded operating system OpenWrt,the paper designed and implement multi-threaded software at application layer.The overall function of the software is to send out the data which received from network card through the serial;and send out the data which received from serial port through network card.In the connection mode,the gateway uses the serial port to communicate with the ZigBee coordinator,and uses the network card to transmit the data to the WiFi network,so that the gateway connects the WiFi network with the ZigBee network.The paper achieve the maximum use of the gateway RT5350 hardware resources,abandoning the waste of hardware resources,so the way is more economical.In this paper,the use of embedded operating system,makes the software more concise and portable,the realization of the software can be transplanted to other Linux operating system.In addition,this paper designs a set of ZigBee network communication system to test the function and performance of the gateway.In order to test the two-way transmission of data,this paper implements the program on the protocol stack Z-Stack,including the design and implement ZigBee coordinator and two ZigBee terminal nodes.Using ZigBee network communication system,this paper has carried on the function and the performance test to the gateway.Eventually the gateway is functional in meeting the design requirements and is performing well.
