The chamfer caisson breakwater is a new type of breakwater developed on the basis of standing embankments and is suitable for deepwater ports. Its structural feature is that the upper wall on the upper chest wall is inclined to the horizontal by an acute angle and the wave force acting on the slope of the chamfered vertical bank is decomposed into horizontal force and vertical force, which can effectively reduce the horizontal wave force of the slope and decompose it.The vertical force also contributes to the overall stability of the breakwater. The chamfered caisson breakwater has a simple structure, good stress resistance, strong stability, and low cost. The good appearance and superior mechanical properties of chamfered caisson breakwaters are considered to be a better type of breakwater in deepwater breakwaters. In this dissertation,it mainly studied the dynamic characteristics of the horizontal wave force and the bottom floating force that acting on the chamfered(30°,45°)caisson breakwater through the physical model test.Firstly, the wave pressure test data that based on the wave tank physical model test is calculated to obtain the maximum horizontal wave force of the back surface, the horizontal wave force of the front surface, and the bottom floating force acting on the breakwater. And then useing Origin software to make a graph of its time history.Secondly,by comparing the time-history curves of each wave component, the variation law of wave force with the wave conditions and working conditions is obtained. And the relationship between the wave force components and relationship between the peak phase difference are also obtained.
