As strong defense forces of a country, the anti-missile systems become significant components of the National Defense Force. With gradual maturity of anti-missile technology, continuous developments of anti-missile weapon systems and keeping updating of anti-missile operational form, the operational capabilities of anti-missile weapon system of systems(AWSoS)get enhanced gradually.Consequently, the research about contribution of AWSoS,using general idea of weapon systems contribution and mature methods,is of great significant for construction of AWSoS and enhancement of corresponding operation capabilities.Recent research about contribution of weapon SoS mainly focuses on aspect of equipment and technology, lacking attention of how weapon SoS operational capabilities changing makes a contribution to combat missions.Meanwhile, most methods of weapon SoS contribution are based on the evaluation of weapon SoS.The paper summarizes the former research of weapon SoS contribution,on the basis of which proposing a gradational model of AWSoS operational capabilities and an evaluation procedure of AWSoS operational capabilities contribution.Additionally,a case is studied to prove that the methods provided by the paper are feasible. The work of this paper can be summarized as:(1)The concept of the system and the contribution rate of weapon SoS is studied, and the operational process of the AWSoS is analyzed with multi-view angle.Based on the study of the contribution rate of the general SoS,this paper draws on the multi-research literature, and puts forward the relevant concepts for the contribution rate of the AWSoS.Based on the multi-view idea, this paper decomposes the operational activities and the operational capability of the AWSoS by using the operational view and the capability view.It deeply studies the mapping of "capabilitymission",and constructs "SoS operational capability-Completion probability " mapping relationship for future research system to provide support for the issue of operational capability contribution.(2)Construct the hierarchical model of operational capability. In order to evaluate the contribution rate of the AWSoS,this paper combines the actual situation of the AWSoS and the decomposition of the operational capability in the capability view to construct the hierarchical model of the operational capability of the AWSoS.The model is more suitable for the characteristics of AWSoS,and can better describe the operational capability of the AWSoS.(3)Calculation of operational Capability Contribution Rate of AWSoS Based on RIMER Method(Belief rule-based inference methodology using the evidential reasoning).Based on the research of the concept of the contribution rate of weapon SoS and the analysis of the operational process of the anti-missile system, this paper proposes the evaluation process of the specific contribution rate of the AWSoS.The process is to solve the problem of the basic problem in the research of the contribution rate of the AWSoS.The process is based on the mature method and has the feasibility of quantitative analysis and evaluation of the contribution rate of the operational capability of the AWSoS.(4)Taking the US AWSoS as an example, this paper highlights the impact of the operational capability change on the combat mission from the perspective of the evolution of the AWSoS.The paper puts forward some suggestions for the construction of the AWSoS;the establishment of the SoS for the upgrading of weapons and new equipment investment SoS,the impact of weapon SoS on the operational capability of the SoS,as well as brought about by the combat mission to complete the contribution rate of the situation.
