In recent years, with the vigorous development of tourism, the number of hotels has been increasing. The energy consumption problem of hotel buildings has also become an important part of studying the energy consumption of public buildings. This article takes a star hotel in Xi’an as the research object, and conducts actual statistical investigation and simulation analysis. In view of the layout of the hotel, the envelope structure parameters, air conditioning system design parameters, air conditioning system form, the end of the form and the main equipment parameters were actually investigated, and the energy monitoring point was confirmed.Combined with the energy consumption monitoring platform for public buildings in Xi’an,the daily energy consumption per hour from June to August in 2017 was summarized. The impact of occupancy rate and outdoor temperature on the energy consumption of air conditioning system was analyzed by one-way ANOVA and SPSS software.According to the hotel’s energy consumption monitoring data from June to August, the energy consumption of the air-conditioning system is the most important energy consumption, accounting for 57.98% of the total;and there are significant differences in energy consumption at different times of the day, from 2:00 to 10:00.The largest change occurred among them with the lowest energy consumption at 6:00.The comparative analysis of energy consumption of seven kinds of occupancy rates in the range of 60%-65% and the outdoor temperature of 22℃-28℃ show that the average energy consumption increase rate reached the maximum of 56.07% and the relative energy consumption increase rate varied from 1.74% to 14.78%,the overall energy consumption and outdoor temperature trends are basically the same,is positively correlated. At the same time, the variance test and LSD comparison test show that the outdoor temperature has a significant impact on the hotel air-conditioning system energy consumption, especially the outdoor average temperature ranged from 24℃ to 27℃.With reference to the average summer temperature of hotels, the energy consumption and the data of the air-conditioning systems with three occupancy rates of 55%-60%,60%-65% and 65%-70% are analyzed when the outdoor temperature is between 27℃ and 27.5℃.The relativeenergy consumption increase rates of air-conditioning systems with occupancy rates of 55%-60% and 60%-65%,60%-65% and 65%-70% are 5.64% and 3.25%respectively.At the same time,ANOVA and F-test at the significance level of α = 0.05 show that the occupancy rate has a very significant impact on the energy consumption of the hotel air-conditioning system.According to the report on energy consumption of hotels, the monthly electricity consumption, natural gas consumption and water consumption from 2014 to 2016 were respectively calculated. As can be seen from the statistical results, the total energy consumption of hotels increased year by year without any energy-saving measures. The total energy consumption increased by 3.1% from 2014 to 2016.The hotel electricity peak appears in July of each year, the gas peak appears in January of each year. This article also compares and analyzes the energy consumption of summer air-conditioning systems of 6 hotels(including hotels)in Xi’an.The analysis shows that the total power consumption of the air conditioning system in summer accounts for 59.85%,43.05%,44.36%,57.98%,48.99% and 63.60%,respectively.It can be seen that the energy consumption of the summer air-conditioning system accounts for a large proportion of the total energy consumption of the hotel building and varies greatly. On this basis, the author conducted a temperature and humidity test between the hotel’s standard rooms and suites. The test results show that the actual temperature in the standard rooms and suites is lower than the design temperature of 1~2℃;the relative humidity is in accordance with the design parameters.DeST energy simulation software is used to simulate and analyze the effects of hotel enclosure structure,air-conditioning system, and air-conditioning start-stop times on energy consumption, and energy-saving measures are proposed based on the simulation results. The simulation and comparison results show that the energy-saving potential of the heat transfer coefficient of the external wall and the external window is 1.33%-3.02% and 0.83%-2.87%,respectively;compared with the direct-fired lithium bromide unit as the cold source of the air-conditioning system, the use of water-cooled centrifugal units,water-cooled screw units and air-cooled screw units as the cold source can save energy by 22.96%,20.77% and 10.78% respectively;compared with the use of gas-fired hot water boilers as heat sources for air-conditioning systems, the use of air-cooled heat pumps and gas-fired steam boilers as heat sources can save energy by 19.69% and 13.99%,respectively;Compared withthe air-conditioning system using the full-air fixed-volume system, the fan-coil system and the full-air variable-air system can save energy by 18.66% and 17.85%,respectively.Finally,in conjunction with energy management,an energy management flow chart is proposed, and hotels can combine energy use features, sign appropriate energy management contracts,or establish their own energy management department.
