The application of solar energy in automatic communication system is increasingly wider.Solar energy is gradually replacing the storage battery and becomes an alternative solution of system power supply.The separate photovoltaic systems and antennas are often used to design these communication equipment,which makes it necessary to compromise in the limited available space of equipment.For the problem that the independently design of solar cells and antennas wastes the limited surface space resources of equipment,the thesis focuses on the integrated design of solar cell and microstrip slot antenna,and researchs the stacking and integration structure of solar cell and antenna,solar antenna simulation models,solar antenna prototype testing,array antenna beamforming,etc.The main contents are summarized as follows:1.According to the layered structural characteristic common to solar cells and microstrip slot antennas,a stacked integrated structure of solar cell and microstrip slot antenna is proposed.When substrate of solar cell is stainless steel or other conductive material,solar cell and microstrip slot antenna can be designed with one common ground,which is beneficial to increase the integration of devices.When substrate of solar cell is polyimide or other insulating material,multiple solar cells can be connected in series,which is conducive to increase output voltage of battery.The structure can be adapted to solar cells with various materials,which expands the application scene of integrated device.2.Based on the stacked integrated structure,an integrated simulation model of solar antenna was established and the influence of the battery on the performance of the antenna was analyzed.A unit circularly polarized microstrip slot antenna was designed using electromagnetic simulation software.And then solar cell materials are added to antenna simulation model.The amorphous silicon solar antenna and dye-sensitized solar antenna are respectively simulated and analyzed.The simulation results show that solar cell has little influence on the performance of microstrip slot antenna,which verifies the feasibility of the integrated structure.3.A 2×2 planar microstrip slot array antenna was designed.Based on this,an antenna prototype,an amorphous silicon solar antenna prototype and a dye-sensitized solar antenna prototype were fabricated.The influence of solar cell on the radiation performance of antenna and the influence of antenna on the output performance of solar cell were tested respectively.In particular,the measurement that influence of battery's output current on antenna was added.The results show that antenna has no effect on the output performance of battery,the existence of battery has little influence on the radiation performance of antenna,and the output current of battery has no effect on antenna,which verify the feasibility of the integrated structure and modelling simulation of solar antenna.4.In order to improve the engineering applicability of solar antennas,a beamforming study was conducted for the 2×8 microstrip slot array antenna.Taylor's synthesis method was used to reduce the maximum sidelobe level of antenna from-12.98dB to-20.92dB.The particle swarm algorithm was used to achieve a flat-top beam from-8~o to 8~o with the maximum sidelobe level of-22dB.The differential evolution algorithm was used to design the cosecant squared pattern from 0~o to 60~o.The research provides antenna array design reference for the practical application of solar antenna in different scenarios.Through the research of this thesis,a stacked integrated structure of solar cell and microstrip slot antenna is proposed,which can effectively increase the area of solar cell.The compact communication equipment using the integrated structure is easy to miniaturize and light-weight,and can receive and transmit electromagnetic signals normally while relatively obtaining more power.
