At present,the concept of sustainable development has been carried out to all walks of life,and has become the inevitable trend of the development in all sectors of society.With the rapid growth of the economy,the sustainable development of the construction industry has gradually been paid attention.The concept of sustainable development of the construction industry needs to be implemented in the whole life cycle of construction,however,because the construction industry has the characteristics of dynamic and long periodicity,the construction activities within the whole life cycle of project has been in chaos and changing environment.More importantly,the diversity and complexity of construction activities in construction stage also cause serious problems,such as environmental pollution,huge resource consumption etc,which has also become the main source of the impact of construction industry on sustainable development.Therefore,the integration of sustainable concept into the construction stage is the core link to ensure the sustainable development of the construction industry.As one of the parts of construction organization design,construction site layout planning is a basic premise for guiding smoothly construction activities.However,it is extremely easy to be neglected.From the perspective of construction site layout planning,this study introduces sustainable concept to design stage,which is more conducive to pre-control aiming to achieve sustainable goal requirements in construction stage.Therefore,this paper generates site layout alternatives that meet the objectives of sustainable development by optimization model,so as to weaken the impact of construction industry on environment and resources.Based on the concept of sustainable development,the objective functions of the study are proposed from three aspects of environmental benefit,social benefit and economic benefit.First,the noise pollution produced by the construction activities is an important environmental factor,which plays an important role in the sustainable development of the construction industry.Sustainable construction site layout requires reducing the noise pollution level of the construction site,improving the construction environment and the life atmosphere of the site workers.However,reducing the level of noise pollution on construction site through optimizing the site layout has been seriously neglected in the existing research.Secondly,the accident rate of construction industry occupies 30-40%share in all industries according to related research.Therefore,the site safety as an important social factors in the construction industry,the site layout in attempt to reduce level of risk is an inevitable requirement of the sustainable;thirdly,the construction cost control as one of the goals of the project management is of significance to construction projects.At the same time,the sustainable development requires the balance of economic,social and environmental benefits.Therefore,the sustainable site layout needs to save the cost of construction.Based on this,the construction site layout planning based on the sustainable concept has become a multi-objective optimization problem.In this study,in order to solve the multi-objective optimization problem that meets reducing levels of noise pollution on construction sites,improving the safety level on construction site and reducing construction cost,the hybrid genetic-ant colony optimization algorithm is used to generate the sustainable construction site layout planning.The hybrid algorithm proposed in this study deploys the advantages of each algorithm to improve the ability to solve the multi-objective problem.In addition,this study takes the residential building project as an case to validates the feasibility and applicability of the proposed model.It is hoped that the results of this research can promote the sustainable development of the construction industry,and extend the perspective of construction site management,so as to guide the healthy and stable development of the construction industry.The innovations of this study are as follows:firstly,from the perspective of the construction site layout planning optimization,integrating the concept of sustainable development,the study provides new ideas for enhancing the safety management level of the construction site due to the improvement of the working environment of the construction site.Secondly,proposing to control noise pollution from the perspective of the construction site layout,the study refines the research field of project management,and enhanced its comprehensiveness and practicability.Thirdly,the concept of sustainable development has been quantitatively expressed by objective functions based on the construction site layout optimization mathematical model,in order to meet the balance between economic benefits,social benefits and environmental benefits,which is beneficial for realizing the sustainable development of construction industry.
