Research On The Age-Appropriate Design Of Intelligent Kitchen Equipment For The Elderly

The present society is the era of intelligence.Various kinds of products emerging endlessly reflect the characteristics of intelligence and high-tech,and intelligent design of kitchen facilities is rising rapidly.At present,the intelligent kitchen facilities applicable to the elderly are relatively deficient.In future design,attention should be paid to the elderly population to realize the combination of intelligent kitchen facilities and suitable for aging and create a better life for the elderly.The object of this paper is the elderly who live independently.In order to make the kitchen life of the elderly more convenient and enjoy the benefits brought by modern technology,the kitchen facilities are designed and studied.Under the background of the development of science and technology,the intelligent kitchen facilities suitable for the operation of the elderly are studied,and the design principles of age-friendly design are followed to propose innovative design methods.This paper studies the functional design of intelligent kitchen facilities by analyzing the psychological,physiological and behavioral habits of the elderly.The kitchen facilities used by the elderly are investigated through questionnaires,literature review and visits,and the results are sorted out and analyzed.The design elements of kitchen facilities for the elderly are summarized from functional design,color design and emotional communication design.Through in-depth research from the design principles of age-appropriate,ergonomics and other aspects,the characteristics of the elderly were comprehensively analyzed,and the functional design method of kitchen intelligent facilities suitable for the elderly was proposed to make up for the operational obstacles,inconvenient activities and lack of emotions caused by the functional decline of the elderly.Finally,the specific solution of kitchen facilities is designed,the theory obtained above is demonstrated,and this subject is verified to be of guiding significance for the design and development of intelligent kitchen facilities for the elderly.
