| Due to the large number of pedestrians and bicycles,mixed traffic has become one of the typical features of intersections in China.Because of this feature,pedestrians,vehicles and bicycles interfere with each other at intersections.In the intersection without right-turning dedicated signal phase,the conflict between the right-turning vehicle,the right-turning bicycle and the pedestrian crossing is most obvious.Therefore,a detailed analysis of the mixed behavior of intersections is carried out,and a mixed behavior model conforming to the characteristics of intersections in China can be established,which can theoretically enrich the study of traffic mixed behavior,making the simulation of intersection traffic flow more detailed and realistic.The geometric design of the intersection can be guided in practice,under the context of pedestrian traffic,nowadays.In this study,the right-turning vehicle,the right-turning bicycle and the pedestrian flow in the intersection are taken as the research objects.Through the actual investigation,the characteristics of pedestrians,vehicles and bicycles,and related traffic characteristics at the intersection are obtained.Based on this,A social force model of pedestrians at intersections and interfering with right-turning bicycles.The model was simulated by Python language,and the related parameters in the model were calibrated.Finally,the relationship between the turning radius of the intersection edge and the pedestrian delay and the time difference of the saturated head of the vehicle was studied by simulation test.The research includes:(1)With the actual investigation,the analysis of the microscopic rows of intersections is completed,and the arrival distribution characteristics,velocity distribution characteristics of different modes of transportation at intersections,and the gap selection probability of pedestrians crossing the vehicle flow and bicycle flow are analyzed.It provides data support for calibration of model’s parameters and model verification.(2)On the basis of summarizing the characteristics and deficiencies of the existing intersection mixed behavior model,based on social forces,the advantages of micro-behavior characteristics can be better described,and pedestrians,right-turning vehicles,and right-turning bicycles are established.The micro-hybrid model,for the problem that pedestrians cross the motor vehicle flow and cross the bicycle flow at the intersection,establishes a virtual lane during the steering process,and models the gap selection behavior when the pedestrian crosses the conflict traffic flow.At the same time,the lateral interference model of the right-turning motorized vehicle and the right-turning bicycle and the collision interference model of the rightturning bicycle and the pedestrian crossing are introduced,and the following force of the bicycle when crossing the pedestrian flow is introduced.Refine the intersection mixed behavior model.(3)According to the actual survey results,as well as the collation of existing research,complete the calibration of relevant parameters in the constructed model.Focusing on the method of comparing the simulated trajectory with the real trajectory,the intensity and distance of action between any two modes of transportation in the model are calibrated.And use Python to complete the simulation implementation of the model.Using simulation scenario analysis,the validity of the model is verified by three aspects: pedestrian clearance probability selection and basic graph verification.(4)Expand the application of the simulation model,carry out the simulation test,and analyze the pedestrian delay under the turning radius of different edges of the intersection and the time interval of the saturated head of the motor vehicle.When the pedestrian radius is R≥10m,the pedestrian delay is reduced with the decrease of R,and it is the smallest when the turning radius of the edge stone is 10 m.The saturation head of the motor vehicle increases significantly with the decrease of R when R<10m.Furthermore,under the guidance of the idea of “Pedestrian First”,it is possible to reduce the pedestrian delay by reducing the radius of the cross-edge stone turning,but the value of the turning radius of the edge stone should not be too small. |
