There is much space for improvement in China's urbanization.Along with the construction process of urbanization,there will also be large-scale development of urban infrastructure and residential housing construction.It is certain that China's total energy consumption will remain in a high growth stage in the short term.Based on such a development background,low-carbon economy is the only way for China to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and carbon energy consumption in the process of new urbanization.Chinese cities are in the stage of rapid development,and in the process of development,the demand for resources and energy is still high.Based on the concept of low carbon,urban planning and design can promote the reduction of carbon emissions in the process of urban development by adjusting the land use layout and functional structure of the city,and provide the most basic guidance for the construction of low-carbon cities.Urban design is an important guideline to guide urban development.Strengthening its influence on the allocation of spatial resources will play an important role in the development of low-carbon cities.However,in terms of theoretical research,carbon emission is rarely taken as a consideration factor to analyze its impact on urban development,and greenhouse gas emission and other contents are not limited as quantitative factors,let alone scientific statistical research on carbon emissions generated by human activity space in urban design projects.In this paper,urban waterfront is taken as the research object,and the design of urban waterfront is supplemented and analyzed through low-carbon design,ecological design,regionalism and other relevant theories,so as to find the most suitable design method for urban waterfront.This article will combine low carbon concept provides Suggestions and strategies for the future urban waterfront design,also can already built in the waterfront space in use problems to provide improvement ideas,to form a positive healthy development of our country's urban waterfront construction.The application of low-carbon urban design to the development and construction of urban waterfront can solve the problems of realizing the revitalization of urban waterfront,enhancing urban vitality,extending urban style,improving urban texture,and preserving the local memory of the city,etc.,which has strong practical and contemporary significance for improving urban cognition and identification and better completing the urbanization of China.Combined with empirical cases,the ecologicalplanning project of chaobai river waterfront in shunyi is used as a practical case to study,and the theoretical strategies are applied to it.The main research idea of this paper is to put forward the problem first,then carry out the study of theories and examples,propose solutions and demonstrate through cases,which are specifically divided into the following parts:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly explains the research background and content of this paper,clarifies the purpose and significance of the research,selects a more comprehensive research method and determines the research framework after determining the research content,and finally carries out a large number of literature survey on the main body of this paper,and summarizes the summary.The second chapter is the basic theory and practical case study part,mainly including with low carbon,low carbon city orientation of urban design,urban waterfront related theory research as well as the domestic and foreign successful low carbon city and waterfront design case.And through the summary of the domestic and foreign waterfront low-carbon city design,clear the main research direction of this paper.The third chapter is divided into three parts,the first part of the city waterfront low-carbon influence factors,combining with the design problems of the current situation,clear in what areas can be designed for low carbon emissions;The second part is the analysis of the related factors of waterfront design in China.The last part of the implementation of low-carbon behavior methods and paths for the fourth chapter of the specific strategy to lay the groundwork.The fourth chapter is the key chapter of the article.Based on the analysis and summary of the foregoing,the urban design strategy of waterfront oriented by the concept of low carbon is proposed from three aspects of reducing traffic carbon emission,reducing building carbon emission and improving green carbon sink,so as to solve some problems existing in the current situation of waterfront,reduce urban space carbon emission and promote sustainable development of green energy saving.The fifth chapter combines "shunyi the chaobai river ecological function planning research project",according to the actual situation of project and the reality of the existence of problems,through the application practice,the fourth chapter puts forward the strategy in order to prove the feasibility of this strategy this paper studied and universality.
