Research On The Courtyard Renovation Of Beijing Old Town With The Participation Of Architects

This paper takes the courtyard renovation in the old urban area of Beijing as the research object.Through exploring the development history of Beijing's old urban area,this paper reviews the transformation and development process of Beijing's old urban area since the founding of the People's Republic of China,and expounds the changes of architect's participation mode and role in this historical process,so as to illustrate the development process of architect's participation in the courtyard transformation practice of Beijing's old urban area.And by comparing other renovation methods during this period,such as the residents' spontaneous construction,it shows the uniqueness and superiority of architects' participation in the renovation of courtyards in the old urban areas of Beijing.On this basis,taking Beijing's courtyard renovation projects such as "Emerging Hall" as the specific research object,through the comparative study of its design methods and construction methods,this paper tries to analyze different architects' different coping methods in the face of similar problems in the old city of Beijing,and summarizes the different design strategies of courtyard renovation in the old city of Beijing that architects participated in.This paper elaborates the excellent cases of architects participating in the yard renovation,and the countermeasures that can be used for reference in the face of the complex urban problems in the old urban areas of Beijing.Based on the investigation and analysis of the present situation of the courtyard renovation in the old urban area of Beijing with the participation of architects,combined with the main purpose of the current renovation of the old urban area of Beijing and the existing laws and regulations,the article clarifies the positive significance of such renovation methods for stimulating the vitality of the old urban area of Beijing,solving the current urban problems in the old urban area of Beijing and protecting the culture of the old urban area of Beijing,as well as the existing shortcomings Suggestions are put forward for the future development of courtyard renovation practice in Beijing Old Town.
