Natural conservation site construction is an important form of in-situ conservation of biodiversity and plays a key role in global biodiversity conservation.National parks are an important type of natural conservation site system.In 2013,China proposed to establish a national park system,and subsequently approved 11 pilot areas.As an important part of the reform for promoting ecological progress,the construction of national parks and the optimization and integration of existing protected areas will be the focus of the future work of natural protected in China.In the site selection planning of the existing national park system pilot areas in China,most of the existing spatial data are still subjectively judged by superposition.lacking of objective data support based on scientific and systematic analysis.Under the background of ecological civilization construction,how to construct a scientific and reasonable evaluation sy'stem of the Spatial Suitability of National Park site selection?as well as an objective and feasible technical scheme of site selection planning,are the main purposes of this studvThis study takes the Southern Zhejiang area of the Mount Wuyishan Biodiversity Conservation Priority Area(Southern Zhejiang priority area)as the research object.By using the methods of literature research,field investigation,data simulation.remote sensing and GIS spatial technology,this stuay has constructed the Spatial Suitabilit,y Evaluation System of national park location.Then the site selection planning was carried out by using system protection planning method.Finally,three feasible spatial location schemes of national parks in the priority areas of southern Zhejiang are obtained by comparing and analyzing the existing planning boundaries such as nature reserves and red line of ecological protection.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The southern Zhejiang priority area has the foundation and potential to build national parks.According to the results of Spatial Suitability Evaluation of National Park site selection,it is concluded that Longquan City,Suichang County and Qingyuan County have the highest suitability level.Based on this,the study of evaluating and identifying the most suitable location planning area was carried out,and the planning research area between Longquan City,Qingyuan County and Jingning County was delimited,covering 1116.33 km2,which accounted for 4.05%of the total area of the southern Zhejiang priority area.It is the scope of follow-up site planning research.(2)To divide the planning research area into 6696 independent planning units by ArcHydro tool.Marxan model is used for site selection planning.Some parameters such as operation times,unit cost and protection objectives are discussed and set.The SPF value was 1.4 and BLM value was 0.32 by sensitivity analysis.After the operation,the best operation of the model is the one with the lowest value of the objective function of the model,and the planning scheme of the operation is regarded as the model scheme Finally,the area of the model scheme is 485.48 km2,accounting for 43.49%of the total area of the planning research area,covering 92.2%of the most irreplaceable planning units,which serves as the basis for the feasibility study.(3)Based on the model scheme,three feasible schemes are obtained through optimization analysis with the existing planning.Scheme 1:Irreplaceability Optimization Scheme,covering an area of 505.02 km2,includes all the planning units with the highest irreplaceable.Scheme 2:Nature Reserves Optimization Scheme,covering an area of 530.67 km2,covering all the existing nature reserves except Wulingkeng area.Scheme 3:Heritage Park and Ecological Redline Integration and optiLization Scheme,covering an area of 605.00 10km2.This study attelpts to incorporate Heritage Parks into the category of National Park site selection,enrich the connotation of national park system construction in China,and has practical exploratory significanceThis paper has formed a technical method system for the spatial evaluation and planning of National Park site selection.which can provide reference for other areas of the country to carry out the research work of National Park spatial layout,site selection planning,functional zoning and so on.
