Based on traditional power systems,the smart grid is highly informational,automated and interactive by integrating new energy,new materials,new equipment,and advanced technologies such as sensing technology,information technology,control technology,and energy storage technology.And it effectively improves the flexibility and adaptability of the power system.Smart grid takes electricity as the core,and through the integration of Internet of Things technology,it integrates network technology and operation mode with power production,transmission,storage,consumption and market,innovates energy development mode,promotes the flattening of energy systems and improves the overall efficiency and operational level of energy systems.Based on Internet of Things technology and Python programming language,this paper integrates traditional power systems through various network connection technologies and information sensing technologies.Through processing,analysis and pattern recognition on the basis of various data collection in power systems,realize intelligent management and remote control of distribution intelligent monitoring system.Based on the engineering practice problems in power system,this paper designs and constructs the intelligent monitoring terminal of power distribution system in power system.The feasibility analysis of the combination of power system intelligence and Internet of Things is carried out,and the overall architecture of the intelligent monitoring terminal system is proposed.Through the combination of Internet of Things technology and Python technology,an intelligent monitoring system combining terminal equipment,gateway and back-end server is constructed.The article describes and tests the design of each functional module of the system in detail,which proves that the system is feasible.
