The pedestrian commercial street(district)is a city function area that gathers a variety of commercial formats.It not only bears the commercial service function in social life,but also is an important type of public space.To a certain extent,it reflects the city's environment and regional characteristics.Cultural characteristics.With the rapid development of social economy,pedestrian commercial districts and their design research are receiving increasing attention.All along,some scholars have carried out related research on the design of urban pedestrian commercial blocks based on different theories and entry points.This paper intends to introduce the cluster morphology theory to explore the design of pedestrian commercial blocks from a more novel perspective.The cluster morphology theory is an architectural viewpoint proposed by Japanese architect Fumihiko Maki.The spatial prototype of the theory comes from the study of "settles".The core content is to give"multi-group"buildings a certain connection based on the integration of regional characteristics,so that they have the same group form.This architectural idea,which emphasizes both decentralization and connection,has a good fit with the design problem of the pedestrian-style pedestrian street.With the growth of theoretical support of the cluster form,the space of the pedestrian commercial block can be explored from a new perspective.Layout and functional organization,thinking about new ideas for pedestrian commercial block design.This paper firstly deeply interprets and analyzes the theoretical basis of cluster morphology,summarizes the three paradigms of the theory and the constituent elements of the cluster form,compares and analyzes the design ideas of commercial pedestrian blocks under the traditional concept,extracts the shortcomings and defects in the design,and then explores the basis The design strategy of pedestrian commercial block in cluster morphology theory proposes countermeasures from the aspects of spatial form,spatial connection and three-dimensional space.Secondly,based on this,select the two typical pedestrian commercial districts in Chengdu,Taigu Li and Beijing Blue Harbor,to conduct research and analysis,summarize the design characteristics from the perspective of cluster morphology theory,and find out the shortcomings and problems.Finally,the green fruit Taking the pedestrian commercial block as an example,the cluster form theory and design techniques are used for practical discussion,and provide some reference and reference for the design of domestic pedestrian commercial blocks.
