With the rapid progress of urbanization in China,the population continued to gather in large cities which lead to the rapid growth of motor vehicles,urban transportation is facing tremendous pressure.How to improve the efficiency of vehicles traveling and providing a reasonable monitoring for vehicles have become a hot issue.It is in this context that the concept of intelligent transportation systems came into being.It combines the GPS,wireless communications,position and other developed technologies.The emergence of intelligent transportation systems effectively eases the pressure on urban traffic,and it improves the road efficiency.As a fundamental part of intelligent transportation systems,Vehicle remote monitoring system deserves more attention and study,which has important practical significance and vast development prospects.This thesis mainly uses Struts2.0,Google Maps API,Hbase and related technologies.It completes system design and development work in Myeclipse integrated development environment,and designs and implements a remote monitoring platform for electric vehicles based on Google Maps.The platform is mainly composed of three parts: mobile terminal,wireless communication network and monitoring client.It has developed functions such as display of electric vehicle monitoring data,accurate positioning of electric vehicles,fault diagnosis,and data analysis,making the remote supervision of vehicles more convenient and smarter.For safe travel of electric vehicles and efficient travel.Mobile monitoring equipment can upload the electric vehicles' status data and its location information to the remote monitoring platform via the GPRS network.After monitoring platform server's analytical processing,the relevant information can be presented on Google Maps,you can view the running route of the vehicles in real time,the platform can also be make timely and reasonable response based on the intelligent analysis of the collected data.Through the actual environmental testing,the monitoring platform can position electric vehicles precisely,show our monitoring data in time,diagnose faults and analyze data,which means that this platform has high practical value.
