Study On The Changes Of Qingyuan’s Government Architectural Space During Song And Yuan Dynasties

This thesis is about the local government architectural space of Qingyuan(Mingzhou)during the Song and Yuan Dynasties.The government architectural space plays the role of political core in local city,and it is influenced by the transformation of the political system.The local administrative system of Song and Yuan Dynasties changes significantly in administrative hierarchy,professional official system,and process of power operation,which results the setting and distribution of government buildings as well as the space pattern of government buildings have the different characteristics.The thesis is divided into four parts.The first chapter discusses the changes of the administrative organizations of Qingyuan(Mingzhou)during Song and Yuan Dynasties,from "two administrative organizations—the coastal military establishment and the local government of civil affairs" in Southern Song Dynasty to "varieties of administrative organizations" in Yuan Dynasty;the second chapter continues to discuss the professional official system of the administrative organizations,and the setting and distribution of government buildings;the third chapter describes the changes in the process of power operation of the local administrative organizations,from “performing their respective duties in different places” in Southern Song Dynasty to “Working together to deal with government affairs” in Yuan Dynasty;in the fourth chapter,using local governments of civil affairs as example to discuss lots of the different characteristics in space pattern of government buildings during Song and Yuan Dynasties.
