The asphalt concrete core-wall dam is widely used at home and abroad due to the good performance.With the development of conservancy in China,the asphalt concrete core-wall dam is developing rapidly.The construction technology of China's asphalt concrete core-wall dam has been the world's leading position with the second mpoundment been completed of QuXue hydropower station-the world first high asphalt concrete core-wall dam.Earth rockfill dams are mostly located in the west of China where earthquakes occur frequently.Because of the late development of asphalt concrete core-wall dam,there is no complete seismic safety evaluation system.This paper takes Tibet asphalt concrete core-wall dam located in highly seismic region as background and with the use of equivalent linearization model,establishing a 3-D Model for dynamic calculation in accodance with topography and geology and making analyses of seismic reponse of the concrete core-wall dam,the main content is as follow:(1)Based on Duncan-Chang E-B model,making analysis of dam body and corewall deformation and stress and focus on the deformation and stress or hydraulic fracturing or principal stress ratio and so on under static conditions.(2)Based on equivalent linearization model,making analysis of the acceleration or dynamic displacement and dynamic stress responses of dam body and core-wall under the dynamic condition.The calculation results show that the acceleration amplification phenomenon is obvious on dam crest.Based on the static and dynamic calculation results,the permanent deformation of dam is calculated,and the liquefaction of dam body is evaluated by calculation the pressure of movable pore water.(3)Type-selection analysis of asphalt concrete core-wall,compare with core-wall in different type and thickness.Compare the effect of core-wall by the shear stress or hydraulic fracturing and seepage flow,and provide basis for the type-selection of corewall for the futher asphalt concrete core-wall dam.
