With the development of de-natural Urban society,children who living in cities are increasingly lacking in meaningful contact with nature.How to rekindle the love of nature is an important issue concerning the values of children’s growth and the future development of society.Current research confirms that this disconnect and demonstrates that kids that interact regularly in the out-of-doors are more mentally acute,physically healthy,socially adept,and more likely to maintain a positive disposition toward the environment and natural resources later in life.What is the natural status of children in China at present? The reasons of affecting children’s natural attribution and how to create green space for children’s connection to nature? This paper mainly study the situation of the urban children’s connection to nature under the current urban green space conditions.The study is based on the children of Tianjin University affiliated primary school and Wan Quan Primary School.Using the the Nature Relatedness Scale、Nature Experience Scale and the site dependence as three indicators to evaluate the connection to nature;This paper explores the main reasons of affecting children’s natural attribution from the aspects of social factors,natural factors and subjective cognition;To investigate the cognition,experience and emotional status of children in different individual and family backgrounds,and to quantitative analysis of the relationship between green space environment and children’s connection to nature by understanding the type of green space,activity type and the condition of natural duration and frequency of the children’s daily life.Finally,combining with the information of children’s painting analysis and word description,this study puts forward the green space strategy to improve the urban children’s natural experience.The combination of social survey data,quantitative analysis and logical deduction in the thesis,This paper probes into the main factors affecting children’s parent-nature from the perspective of landscape gardening,in order to promote the attention of the society to the natural deficiency of children,and to quicken the construction of the children’s natural experience-type green landscape.
