With the development of global industry,the contradiction between the increasing demand for energy and the decreasing storage of fossil energy is increasingly prominent.Therefore,the development of new energy,the full utilization and timely storage of renewable energy become the key to efficient utilization of resources and energy.Battery technology,as the main component of energy storage and use,plays a key role in the use of energy.Lead carbon battery is a combination of advantages of lead-acid battery and super capacitor,research of negative of lead carbon battery is mature,improving cycle life enhance the result of positive active material loss caused by the failure of the cathode is highlighted.The capacity attenuation law of lead carbon battery varies in different application conditions.In this study,the cyclic test of lead carbon battery under three working conditions is carried out.Through the test of the morphology and electrochemical characteristics of positive active substances,the failure mechanism of positive active material of lead carbon battery is revealed.It is found that ambient temperature is the most important factor affecting the cycle life of lead carbon battery.Because of the double action of softening of positive active material and grid corrosion,the capacity of battery is most attenuated,and the internal structure of positive plate is most severely damaged.The increase of the discharge depth will aggravate the softening and falling off of the active substance,and show the phenomenon of"dive"at the end of the cycle.The sulfurization degree of the battery plate is more serious due to the increase of the discharge rate.The sulfuration of the positive active material is the main factor of the battery failure,which is different from the failure mechanism of the other two kinds of working conditions.In view of the positive failure problem,using the additive modified optimization experiments,according to the formula for the preparation of lead carbon battery,charge and discharge cycle,initial capacity,cyclic voltammetry test the performance of the battery,so as to lead carbon battery positive electrode active material properties were studied in a series of.The study found that the porous structure of diatomite provides a more reactive site for the positive electrode active material,which is favorable for the charge-discharge reaction.;Ti4O7 has formed an effective conducting network in the active materials,increased the electrochemical activity of PbSO4surface,the conductivity of PbSO4 particles was more fully;4BS to improve the stability of material structure activity,to slow down the effect of softening and shedding of positive active material.
