As a healthier,more environmentally friendly and less stressful road trip,public bicycles have re-entered the world with cycling enthusiasts.However,some public bicycles lacking in beauty are not only difficult to enhance the user's willingness to use,but also to a certain extent,undermine the image of the city.This paper studies the use of control parameters for styling features to express the shape of public bicycle styling elements.A parametric public bicycle modeling design method based on aesthetics features is proposed in order to quickly obtain different public bicycle styling designs by changing the control parameters of aesthetics features and to meet the users' higher level requirements in aesthetics for public bicycle modeling.Based on the aesthetic principle of product modeling design,this paper puts forward three aesthetics principles of public bicycle modeling design: symmetry and equilibrium,proportion and scale,tempo and rhythm.Combining Maslow's hierarchy of needs and Freud's theory of personality,the aesthetics needs of public bicycle styling has three levels: view,motivation and humanity.The aesthetic features of public bicycle design are divided into three categories: basic features,basic shape,proportion and scale features,and based on this classification criteria,13 aesthetic feature elements are extracted.In this paper,the principal component analysis is used to extract the aesthetic needs of the design of public bicycles.Through the construction of Semantic Difference scales and the Quantification Theory Type I,the relationship between aesthetic needs and aesthetic features of public bicycle is established.Combining with Ergonomics analysis,the value of aesthetic feature parameters is defined for the three major aesthetic needs respectively.A design proposal of public bicycle for each aesthetic need is proposed.The fuzzy evaluation method is used to verify the feasibility of the design method and design results.The results show that the user satisfaction of modeling design proposed based on quantification of aesthetic features can reach a good level or above,which proves that this method is feasible.The above research results can provide a new way for public bicycle modeling design.
