With the rapid development of urbanization in China,buildings,as the one of primary energy consumers,play an important role in demand side response of the smart grid.Because of the good thermal storage capacity of the building service system,heating,ventilation,and air-conditioning(HVAC)systems is a resource of excellent demand response.Compared with split air conditioner,the individual central airconditioning has a high capacity and easier control function.Furthermore,most of office buildings,which owned central air-conditioning,commonly belong to enterprises and institutions,which easily form a consensus on participation of DSM.Therefore,the central air-conditioning is one of the preferred object to carry out research on DSM.First,this paper established a regional energy system in Tianjin based on TRNSYS,including energy supply system,thermal storage system,building service system and control system.The operation of heating season,design week and design day is simulated,and results shows basic model is consistent with the actual situation,so it can be used as a benchmark to measure the effectiveness of load control strategy.Second,an indirect load control strategy is designed,which is to increase the supply and demand matching performance by adding the actual energy storage system.In this study,the water storage technology is used,and two economic evaluation indicators are selected to analysis the feasibility of strategy.Results show that the best scheme is the heat storage rate of 30%,which effectively realize power load shift,and achieve the purpose of regulating load curve.Third,utilizing the good virtual storage characteristics of building service system,and time-of-use price in Tianjin,this paper designed three direct load control strategy based on temperature control,including load shedding,load shifting and improved load shifting control strategy.These strategies can realize direct management of electricity load,and achieve the purpose of regulating load curve.Finally,this paper proposed gray connection analytic method,and based on indicators in four aspects,including energy consumption,load control characteristics,comfort and economy,to evaluate implementation of load control strategy.Results show that load shedding load control strategy has optimal comprehensive performance under the given conditions in this paper.Meanwhile,the results also prove central airconditioning is excellent demand response resource,which could achieved a variety of system objectives by designing appropriate load control strategies,have broad engineering application prospects.
