Many large domestic and International Airports have been built closely spaced parallel runways to solve the airport congestion and flight delays as well as other thorny issues.Firstly, closely-spaced runway in China takes the operation model of one runway for take-off and the other runway for landing. Based on the position error probability model, a calculation model for evaluating the collision risk of the operation mode is established. Based on the study of aircraft flight path, the kinematic model of the aircraft and the calculation model of the minimum running interval of the operation mode are built. Finally, through the analysis of the example, the simulation demonstrates the minimum distances about takeoff and landing aircraft of different aircraft mixes under the circumstance of various wind speeds as well as makes the collision risk analysis of the minimum operating distance.Secondly, according to the operation mode of paired approach, a model for calculating the safety distance between two aircrafts in the wake protection point and out of the wake protection point are established. The actual data is used to calculate the safe distance of two paired aircrafts in Shanghai Hongqiao airport under different circumstances. The simulation analyzes the characteristics of the changes of safe distance.Thirdly, considering the effect of the moving of the runway entrance to the position of final approach fix of paired approach, a collision risk assessment model is established to assess the final approach segment of paired approach. According to the actual state of the paired aircrafts and the flight path of the aircrafts, the kinematic model of the aircraft is established. Finally, through the example analysis, it is concluded that in the case of the faster former aircraft with 3 degree offset approach, the collision risk is lower.Finally, a collision risk calculation software is compiled by utilizing the established collision risk assessment model of isolated operation and paired approach, it shows that this software can make the assessment of collision risk more convenient.
