The design of the aircraft cockpit display interface has a direct impact on the information acquisition of pilots.Superficially,human error is the main cause of flight accidents.However,a large number of studies have shown that the unreasonable design of the display interface increases the pilot's workload,and causes pilot misjudgment,which is the direct reason of flight accidents.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to measure and evaluate the influence of the cockpit display interface on the pilot workload.This paper analyzes the cyclical process of man-machine interaction in the aircraft cockpit.The process of man-machine interaction is the process of information interaction between man and machine.Then,pilot's information recognition and processing process is analyzed,and based on the information processing characteristics of the pilots,the information display contents,display modes and display layout of the mechanical and digital instrument display interfaces are studied.This part provides a theoretical basis for studying the influence of the display interface on the pilot workload.Based on the simulated flight platform and the E-prime experimental platform,the simulated flight experiment and the cognitive load experiment were designed and carried out,the experiment selected two kinds of different instrument display interface models and two different display modes of the air speed table,simulated flight experiment to collect subjects ' eye movement Index,ECG Index and subjective score,The cognitive load experiment collected the participants ' reaction time and correct rate,and used principal component analysis to reduce the dimension of the collected physiological indexes.Then the single factor variance analysis is carried out to determine the validity of the experimental data.Based on the physiological indexes and the subjective evaluation value of the pilots,the psychological load of the subjects were obtained,and the quantitative model of the pilots ' workload was established together with the cognitive load of the participants.By comparing the workload score of the subjects,it can reflect the workload and the changing trend more intuitively and accurately.The results show that,in the simulated flight experiment,the digital instrument display interface brings about less workload to the pilot,compared with the mechanical instrument display interface,and the display mode of the digital window is better than that of the mechanical dial type.
