With the combination of finite element technology and structural optimization design,structural topology optimization plays an irreplaceable role in modern engineering.Compared with the traditional optimization of size and shape,topology optimization can achieve greater economic benefits.Many of the current topological optimization work is still in the exploratory stage.ESO method and SIMP method are the more mature methods in topology optimization of continuum today and their application in various projects has fully demonstrated the ability to solve practical engineering optimization design problems.Therefore,ESO and SIMP are selected as the research objects.In view of the SIMP,this paper describes a mathematical model adapted to structural topology optimization with minimum compliance as the objective function under volume constraints.And select an effective solution – optimality criteria,the iterative format was derived,and the use of MATLAB programming.Furthermore,based on the traditional ESO method applied to the global optimization problem of stiffness constraint,an improved method based on the Bi-directional varying rule of rejection ratio and edge smoothing method is proposed.The improved method is realized by MATLAB software.The comparison example verifies the optimization stability of the new method and the inhibition of the checkerboard phenomenon.In order to further explore the application of topological optimization in practical engineering,this thesis takes the structure of the landing gear drag strut as the research object.Combined with the data of the landing gear static test,the finite element static analysis of the drag strut structure is carried out with OptiStruct.The solution and test data are compared to verify the effectiveness of the simulation.Based on SIMP method,the conceptual design of the topological optimization of the structure of the drag strut is carried out.The new design and the original design were re-conducted finite element static analysis,the comparison results show that the new design is of smaller weight and the strength and stiffness are largely improved.
