With the development of social economy,buildings are required to cover more space and satisfy the needs of various functions.The bionic structure system is applied to practical engineering,which makes the building structure have strong visual appeal and vitality.There are many factors considered in the bionic special-shaped structure design which is lack of standard basis.So the structure design has certain innovation and engineering reference value.The frame structure has the advantage that building plane has a flexible layout.It can not only exploit material performance,but also make use of reasonable shape to satisfy the requirements of different architectural shapes and functions.The steel structure is better than concrete structure for the new kind of structure.In order to meet the requirements of architectural art and function,a city conference center selected a steel frame structure with a bowl-shaped shape.This paper takes this as the engineering background to carry on the design research.The E-P-b method is used in the design,that is,the second order linear elastic analysis is used for the internal force analysis,and the limit design method for the section plasticity is used in the design of the members.The main contents are as follows:Firstly,the three-dimensional model is built by CAD and the structural design is calculated by using the finite element software Midas Gen.The internal force of the structural member is obtained and the static performance of the structure is analyzed.Secondly,the natural vibration period,frequency and mass participation coefficient are calculated,and the shear force,displacement angle,displacement ratio,torsional displacement ratio and stiffness are all irregular,which meet the requirements of seismic design.The structural components are designed.After that,by calculating the design stress ratio of the structure,it is concluded that the stress ratio is on the low side,and the section of the structural member is optimized.The optimized structure can reduce the amount of steel used on the premise of meeting the requirements of seismic design.Finally,the nonlinear buckling analysis is carried out for the crooked framecolumns formed in the shape of bowls,and the buckling analysis is carried out on five folded columns of high,middle and low levels according to the height,and the calculated length coefficients of the folded linear columns are calculated by the stability theory of the axial compression bar.It provides the basis for the stiffness and overall stability calculation of the steel frame column.
