Box-type substation is a new type of power distribution equipment,not only solve the problems that traditional civil substation covers a large area,but also meet the power supply which residential area,mining,port and other occasions need.But with the increasing demands of power supply,ventilation problems are also highlighted,especially in summer high temperature and load operation lead to transformer fault tripping.Therefore,how to find a reasonable solution to solve the problem of poor heat dissipation and to ensure safe and efficient operation of transformers has become difficult issues to researchers both at home and abroad.Based on the 200 kVA box-type substation main transformer room as the research object,using Fluent numerical simulation software of main transformer room to make a careful research,which contains the size and location layout of inlet and outlet,natural ventilation and different environmental temperature applicable conditions.First,the old ventilation structure of the main transformer room was modified.The temperature profile of the cross section was analyzed by changing the position of the top fan,changing the size of the air inlet,changing the air inlet and the transformer height from the bottom of the main transformer room.Weighted average temperature chart determines the optimal ventilation layout of the main transformer room is: the top of the outlet along the X axis centerline arranged 1300mm;front and rear air inlet size is 280 mm × 280 mm,inlet and transformer from the bottom of main transformer room is 240 mm and 115 mm,not open air inlet on the bottom is more conducive to ventilation.Second,the potentials of natural ventilation are studied in detail.The average temperature of indoor air,the temperature at the highest position of the transformer,the outlet temperature and the maximum temperature of the transformer wall are obtained from the load rate and the ambient temperature(inlet air temperature).And the inlet air temperature curve found that the four with the load rate was logarithmic,with the inlet temperature is a linear relationship.Any inlet temperature or load rate was known whether to open the fan,the maximum potential of natural ventilation is applied.Finally write main transformer room ventilation design program,the main transformer room transformer position,number and arrangement of inlets and outlets position,fan number and fan open condition,environment condition such as temperature adaptation degree can give the best design scheme to provide certain reference for designers.
