With the improvement of people's life quality,the use of aluminum foil blister packaging has been commonly used.It is favored by the vast number of consumers because of its easy use and good sealing effect.And it has been widely used in the pharmaceutical,food and other packaging.Due to various factors in the process of product packaging,it may produce seal leakage,pressure penetrating or cracks and pores because of material itself which can form connecting holes of the packing.These will adversely affect the contents of the package.The defect of aluminum-plastic blister sealing leakage is a kind of quality defect that is difficult to observe directly with the eyes.The sealing will affect the quality of the products directly.The existing leak detection methods of aluminum foil blister packaging have many disadvantages such as time-consuming,labor-intensive and low degree of automation,so it can't meet needs of the development.So it is necessary to study the methods and equipment of the aluminum foil blister sealing detection with non-destructive,high efficiency and high automation.In this paper,a set of aluminum foil blister packaging sealing detection method based on image processing was developed.Based on the principle of differential air leak detection and the working principle of CCD measurement system,the experimental platform of sealing test of aluminum foil blister packaging was designed,including hardware system and software system.The hardware system mainly included the vacuum system and the image acquisition system.The vacuum system provided a vacuum environment for the detection system.The image acquisition system was responsible for the collection and transmission of the image.LabVIEW was used to complete the overall control of the experimental system,including the image acquisition control and vacuum control.The control system software consisting of vacuum control,image acquisition,user interface and result display based on LabVIEW software platform was completed.MATLAB was used to complete the image processing and algorithm recognition.Image processing mainly included uniform brightness,image grayscale enhancement and binarization.The algorithm recognition mainly included image block,feature parameter judgment and result display.The above-mentioned processing method was carried out on the aluminum foil blister packaging image collected in the vacuum state,and the air tightness discrimination result was obtained.Finally,the data processing results of MATLAB were integrated into LabVIEW,achieving the visualization of the discriminant results.With the application of this detection methods,this paper had achieved the purpose of non-destructive,efficient and automatic detection of aluminum foil blister packaging.
