Research On Organic Renewal Design Of Public Space In Urban Fringe Villages Based On Nominative Case

This issue chooses Wanxichong Village in Chenggong New District of Kunming City as the research object of practice,applies the research theory and method of architectural anthropology,carries out systematic research on the characteristics of public space in villages with better agro-cultural characteristics in urban fringe under the background of urbanization,and tries to put forward targeted public space transformation and update strategy.This issue mainly elaborates from five parts,and discusses the specific tasks and achievements of each stage.Firstly,the research trends in the relevant fields are sorted out,including the relevant theories and case studies of urban fringe,village public space and organic renewal,and corresponding summaries are made;secondly,the relevant research and discussion on the historical evolution and development status of Wanxichong village;thirdly,the investigation of public space in Wanxichong Village on the level of "material" and the field investigation of human behavior on the level of "human"".Fourthly,it puts forward the target orientation,ideas,strategies and specific design contents of the organic renewal of public space in Wanxichong Village.Fifthly,the formulation of specific design content task books and the expression of design results.In the field survey of Wanxichong Village which lasted a year frequently,we learned about the future development of public utilities and related public space construction in the village through communication with the village committee.At the same time,detailed behavioral observation and in-depth interviews were conducted among the users of various project practice points to obtain more valuable demands of Wanxichong villagers,namely the "emics"(space owner)for the future construction of village public space,and on the basis of combing the survey materials and analyzing the problems,targeted proposals were put forward.The overall renewal plan of public space system of Wanxichong Village and the planning and design work of various village public buildings were finally completed.It is expected that this study will be of some reference value to the renewal planning and construction of similar urban fringe villages.
