In China, electric power resource and the demand of electricity distribute in reverse from east to west geographically;developing ultral high voaltage(UHV)engineering to realize longdistance transmission of electricity,is an effective solution to imbalance the supplying and demand of power electricity.Under this background, the increasing of proportion of external electric power in eastern power grid caused the operation and management problems, which need the support of ancillary services to ensure the power system operating safely and steadily.Furthermore, power ancillary services in China is compensated according to cost, and the standard of compensation and allocation should be based on the estimation of the ancillary services cost.In view of this problem, this thesis studies the impact of the ancillary service on the operating status and ancillary service cost of the unit due to the external power. The main contents include:First of all, according to the actual differences between external power and conventional unit, this thesis calculated the increase of spare demand of peak regulation, reserve and primary frequency regulation reserve by the external power,at different load levels, different installed arrangement, and specific requirement of system reliability, and that laid the foundation for follow-up study. It is proposed that the primary frequency regulation reserve should be payed attention to on account of the large-scale external power supply seriously affected the frequency stability of the power grid. Then,a power economic dispatch model with external power supply is established. On the basis of the traditional unit commitment, the "three-phase" scheduling model is added. In addition, the constraint of primary frequency regulation capacity considering frequency deviation is added,in consideration of the increase of potential failure power shortage of the system. The research shows that the external power supply in different construction stages and different characteristics differently influence the operation status of units supplying ancillary services.Composition of ancillary services cost of peak regulation, reserve and primary frequency regulation capacity is analyzed, and the nature relationship between several different ancillary services is discussed, and then ancillary services cost is measured with start-stop cost, variable cost and opportunity cost.In addition, the mechanism that characteristics of the external power supply affects ancillary service cost is analyzed. The calculation based on the scheduling results indicates that the ancillary service cost caused by the external power is different with the characteristics external power. Finally, according to the problem that influence on receiving-end power grid providing ancillary services differs at different system operation mode,in order to reflect the influence of external power supply more comprehensive and accurately, the operation of an actual provincial power grid is continuously simulated at the time scale for a whole year with the aid of GOPT tool platform.Compared with the previous research, the thesis analyzed the impact of the external power supply on supplement and cost of ancillary services in receiving-end power grid on a broader time scale.
