The Design Methods Of Medical Buildings For “Disabled Children”

According to China's sixth national census,as of the end of 2010,the total number of disabled people in China has reached 85.02 million.Since 1990,the United Nations has designated December 5th as the International Day of Disabled Persons,and “disabled children” have become “weak” among “vulnerable groups” due to their physiological age.Developed countries paid little attention to “disabled children”.In 1968,the US government enacted the Law on Early Childhood Education for Disabled Children,and then passed the Rehabilitation Act in 1973.Norwalk,which was enacted in the United Kingdom in 1978.The report puts forward that the theory that most special children can and should be in ordinary schools has opened the chapter of integrated education.The Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan regions have also opened the prelude to the protection of "disabled children" in different forms.In contrast,China's mainland region started late.In 1988,the Chinese government established the Disabled Persons' Federation.Three years later,the People's Republic of China Disabled Persons' Security Law was enacted.According to the huge data stated in the previous article,it can be seen in the present.The study of medical building design methods for disabled children has considerable urgency and necessity,and is beneficial to the medical rehabilitation of “disabled children” and even the entire disabled population.The study of this paper concentrates on the related theories of “disabled children” and related cases of medical building.Through the study and comparison of related theories,the analysis of the relationship between related medical buildings,and the summary of characteristics of relevant cases under different geographical conditions,we discussed the specific issues as the current “disabled children” medical buildings from the definition of the nature of the project site selection,general layout,functional rooms,facades and interior decoration and other design requirements.On the other hand,it focuses on the analysis of the expansion project of China Rehabilitation Research Center for Children participated by the author.Through careful study of the design method of the project,it provides a more scientific,standardized,and efficient method for the design of “disabled children” medical buildings.Finally,the personality and common design methods of “disabled children” medical buildings from planning layout to architectural design were proposed,that is,the “disabled children” medical building design method must comply with the commonality of medical building design,combined with the development of the times,and also target the types of diseases of different types of “disabled children”,using targeted and disease-oriented design.technique.Hearing impaired children are a typical category of “disabled children”.The architectural design method of Rehabilitation Research Center for Children has implications for researching “disabled children" medical building design methods.Currently the lack of relevant research on“ disabled children” in China has led to the study of the “disabled children” medical architectural design method being still at an exploratory stage.So this paper has a certain exploration and practical significance under current background.At the same time,the paper also has a certain guiding value for the related medical architecture design of all kinds of children included in the “disabled children”.
