HPG Port Service Company is a port company engaging in loading and unloading services,and has a long history,which is the starting point of Maritime Silk Road of ancient China and one of the earliest customs ports in our country,highly well-known in the globe.In addition,it is one of the important ports for overseas and domestic trades of South China,involving the main businesses of bulk cargo,break-bulk cargo,loading and unloading as well as storage and transportation of containers.It is a typical traditional state-owned enterprise,featured with insufficient management and efficiency advantages as well as high operation cost.In recent years,the economy has been depressed,the overseas and domestic transaction capacities have declined and the industrial competition is increasing,which aggravates the above-mentioned problem.Wherein,labor cost and mechanical equipment maintenance cost are key factors to affect corporate benefit.Scientific research method of project management can be used for analyzing equipment management and cost problems,economic analysis means and mathematical model can be used for enhancing scientific decision-making level.This paper mainly takes mechanical equipment management and maintenance cost as research objects,conducts analysis on management mode and variable cost thus to find out channels to reduce cost and improve efficiency.Firstly,research background and significance are introduced,based on theoretical methods related to domestic and overseas equipment management and cost control,the current situation of equipment management and cost control are summarized,besides,the existing problems of equipment management are raised and corresponding reasons are analyzed.Secondly,equipment and cost data are collected,based on mathematical analysis,ABC classification method is adopted to classify the Loading & Unloading Machines according to quantity and cost,moreover,different management and maintenance strategies are proposed aiming at three kinds of equipment.Finally,technology economics theory and method are adopted to make feasible economic decisions on equipment maintenance and transformation.Besides,random plan model is established for configuration of container yard equipment,random variables involved in the model are analyzed and parameterized,and then optimal equipment configuration and minimum maintenance cost can be calculated through transformed linear planning,furthermore,practical significance of calculation result and application value in equipment management efficiency are analyzed.This paper conducts deep research on equipment management of HPG Port Service Company,provides effective solutions to scientific management maintenance strategy,refine equipment classification management,avoid excessive maintenance and maintenance shortage.By aid of economic appraisal based on cost data analysis and research of stochastic programming model,it conducts analysis on equipment allocation problem under the requirements of equipment maintenance transformation investment decision and minimum cost,provides effective reference and basis for equipment management and cost control.
