Due to its excellent performance,composite materials are widely used in the structure design and manufacture of new civil aircraft.With the partial use of minor load-bearing components and the large-area use of major load-bearing components,not only the safety and reliability of the aircraft can be guaranteed,but also the weight of civil aircraft and the operating costs of airlines can be greatly reduced.This paper mainly focuses on the inspection interval of civil aircraft composite structure and its repair tolerance.Based on the maintenance task and inspection interval of structure part in the process of developping maintenance programs,combined with the existing methods of probability analysis of structure damage tolerance and structure test data and route statistics,considering factors such as the accidental low velocity impact,the impact damage detection and the overload of the load on the structure of the body during the operation process of civil aircraft,this paper presents a probabilistic analysis method to determine the inspection interval of the structure under the corresponding detection conditions.It also discusses the problem of what time to check the structure of the civil aircraft composite structure.Using Monte Carlo method and computer simulation technology,taking the probability distribution of the possible damage,the number of injuries,the time of injury,the detection of damage,the maintenance strategy,the maintenance cost and other variables of civil aircraft composite structure during service into consideration,combined with the damage The residual strength of the damaged structure,the recovery of residual strength after repairing and the external load,this paper carried out the simulation of the residual strength of the composite structure during service and the assessment of the reliability of the damage structure as well as the calculation of the maintenance cost,then a tolerance assessment method of composite structure repair is proposed to discuss the "what time to repair" problem of composite structure.In this paper,a new mode based on probabilistic analysis is provided for the structure part analysis process in the maintenance program,which offers a reference for the maintenance task and the determination of the inspection interval.Based on the inspection intervals and repair decisions obtained from the usage/maintenance data analysis of civil aircraft collected by the route,it also guides airlines to apply to OEM/TCH for the revision of the maintenance plan.It is of practical engineering significance to improve the economic efficiency of airlines on the premise of ensuring the safety and reliability of the structure.To undertake the two issues about "when to check" and "when to repair",this paper proposed ideas about the design of repair program based on damage assessment,the purpose is to provide a preliminary framework reference for the follow-up "how to repair" research work.
