Shrub Survey And Garden Application Analysis In Tianzhu Mountain Nature Reserve

With the vigorous development of China’s economy,people pay increasingly more attention to the quality of life and living environment,and the requirements and tastes of the environment are constantly improving.Therefore,people’s requirements for garden landscaping and plants have also begun to diversify and because of the reason of shrubs that has many advantages,such as variety,ornamental,plasticity,easy management,adaptability,etc.,its application in garden landscaping must be gradually extensive and important.Since wild shrub are the source of garden landscaping and treasury of new varieties so that it is of great significance to use it rationally on the basis of protecting it.The distribution area of shrubs in this area is relatively larger,plus cork oak and rocky shrubs,and it may accounts for about one-third of the total area of the protected places.If we analyze the zonal vegetation,the native shrubs such as cedar and alpine cypress shrubs in this area are only distributed in high altitude areas of Tianzhu Mountain;the widespread secondary shrubs appeared by the destruction of forest communities caused by human activities,which owns strong vitality and stands for the common species in the shrub layer of forest communities in the area.If no interference occurs,it will be replaced by the forest community in a not so long a time.The shrubs in this area belong to the categories of evergreen broad-leaved shrubs and deciduous broad-leaved shrubs.The evergreen broad-leaved shrubs always grows in the area below 700 m above sea level,transforming from the evergreen deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest without absolutely dominant species,mainly including rock shrubs,iron stalks + boxwood shrubs and firethorns + Masang thickets.As for the deciduous broad-leaved shrubs,you can notice them in various altitudes in the protected area,yet mainly at medium and low altitudes.In this paper,through the comprehensive investigation of wild shrub resources in Tianzhu Mountain Nature Reserve,the author divides the wild shrubs in the reserve into several fields: flower viewing,fruit viewing,foliage,branching,and flower and fruit.By grading the ornamental value,utilization degree,ecological habits,reserves and resistance of the wild shrubs in the protected area,the priority development value can be calculated,and then the priority development varieties are determined: the first type of wild shrubs that we need to develop in priority are water scorpion,bitter candy,beautiful arborvitae,lanceolata,bald sylvestris,and yam white;the second part is lobular willow,Emei rose,pink back jaundice,large fruit holly,The winged spear,and also we should research on its planting,shaping and pruning techniques.
