The simple structure,low cost and high comprehensive fuel saving rate make the extended-range electric vehicle become a new energy vehicle with industrial prospects.Throughout the country,the extended-range electric vehicles still have the problems of unreasonable matching,high power consumption in the pure electric mode,and low efficiency of the range extender,which has become an urgent problem to be solved in the development of new energy vehicles.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The structure,working principle and characteristics of the extended-range electric vehicle are introduced in detail.(2)According to an extended-range electric vehicle VTS,the power source and power system are matched,including important components such as power battery,drive motor,final drive,engine and generator.(3)On the AVL-CRUISE platform,the vehicle model was built,and the control strategy model was built on the MATLAB/Simulink platform,including pure electric mode,extended mode,energy recovery mode,creep mode,and co-simulation.(4)Comparing the simulation with the results of the bench test,verifying the accuracy of the simulation,and providing a model basis for the subsequent optimization of the vehicle's dynamic economy.(5)Through the resistance decomposition and energy flow experiments,analyze the resistance and efficiency of key components or systems,optimize the feasibility of parts with large resistance and low efficiency,compare the results before and after optimization,and provide data for vehicle economic optimization.support.This paper does not use the optimization algorithm to optimize the components,but uses the resistance decomposition and energy flow test which can better reflect the performance of the whole vehicle and parts to analyze and optimize.The optimized extended-range electric vehicles are economical in pure electric mode.Increased by about 14%,providing data support for the optimization of vehicle power economy.
