Study On Application Of Natural Style Gardens In Landscape Design Of Residential Area

This paper takes the application of British natural garden design technique in residential landscape design as the research object.Through the theoretical summary,case analysis and practice research to deeply summarized and applied the application present,existing problems and development trends in our country residential area situation.Taking a residential area of Xinqiao Town in Shanghai as an example,this paper explores the application of British natural style garden design technique in residential garden design through design practice.It is scientific and effective to introduce foreign culture into the landscape design of residential areas in China in the future.The specific findings of the study are as follows:(1)The British natural beauty garden develops and inherits the unique charm of nature.Natural style gardens are characterized by abandoning geometric shapes and symmetrical layouts,replacing them with curved roads,natural trees and grasslands,winding rivers,and merging the landscape with the natural environment outside the garden.The pursuit of the local soul,affirmation of the objective world beauty Park.The connotation of British natural style gardens is not to imitate nature and imitate the real environment,but to emphasize the unique appeal and authenticity of the natural landscape,and to strengthen the visual intuitiveness at the same time.(2)Through the analysis of some cases of reference,we can found that only by understanding its cultural connotation,natural style garden design techniques can be reasonably integrated into the landscape design of residential areas in our country.At the same time,with the rigid application of the western garden design in our country,many designers directly put the design sketch of the western garden into their own design,without considering whether the proportion is appropriate or not,they pursue the westernization blindly.As a result,the practice level of Chinese gardens is very low,it is very difficult to truly incorporate the connotation of western gardens into landscape design.Therefore,it is necessary to study and summarize the natural style of British style in practice and learn how to use.(3)In the part of this paper,the application of British natural garden in residential area put into practice.According to the design results,it is feasible to apply natural style garden in residential landscape design.In order to integrate the foreign culture into the design of our country,we should combine the specific situation of our country and find the appropriate application level in the landscape design of the British natural style to the residential area in order to integrate the foreign culture into the design of our own country.Taking the advantages of western gardens and making up for the shortage of Chinese gardens,the concept of western gardening is integrated into the landscape design of residential areas in our country through continuous practice.
