Study On The Landscape Design Of The Retirement Community Elderly Living For

Against the background of an aging global population,China,as the country with the largest population,faces the most serious problem of population aging due to its large population base and ageing population.With the rapid development of our country’s economy,a large number of young people have gathered in developed cities.The emergence of "empty nesters" is an inevitable trend.It is a research topic that is beneficial to the harmonious development of the society to explore the landscape environment suitable for elderly people living in the old-age community,meet the physical and mental health needs of the elderly,improve the quality of life,and enhance the happiness index of life.This article summarizes the historical evolution and research status of the old-age care community from both domestic and foreign perspectives.Based on the psychological and physiological needs of the elderly,this paper analyzes the behavioral needs of the elderly and analyzes the typical cases of the old-age care community at home and abroad.A research strategy for the landscape design of the old-age community was put forward.Finally,through the landscape design of a pension community in Xiagezhuang,Pinggu District,Beijing,the theory and examples were combined to verify the feasibility of the strategy.The main conclusions of the study were as follows:(1)There is a need for space safety,humanity,and diversity in the elderly.There is a demand for green space.There is a demand for life service functions.(2)Designing landscape facilities based on the ergonomic theory of the elderly.The design that meets the physiological characteristics of the elderly can enhance the comfort of the elderly.Design should pay attention to the shaping of space security.By setting up rain corridors,appropriate lighting,and planting green space,external factors are reduced to affect the lives of the elderly.To create an accessible community landscape for the elderly.According to the activities of different types of elderly people to create different space,including fitness,entertainment,health.Let all seniors find the favorite place in the community.The plant design should use the shrubs and shrubs and flowers reasonably to create a space with different functions.We must pay attention to the construction of community safety facilities and the various aspects of the work of serving people,and fundamentally guarantee the quality of life and safety for the elderly.This paper provides some planning and design methods and reliable reference for the planning and design of the old-age care community landscape in China.
