Population aging has become a major global problem,and China’s population aging problem has continued to intensify.The most immediate problem brought about by the aging of the population is the problem of pensions.In the “ Thirteenth Five-Year Plan”,China clearly stated that “it is necessary to establish a multi-level pension service system based on homes,communities,and institutions to supplement health care and health care.Combining elderly care services and actively responding to the aging population." Therefore,home care is the dominant mode of care in China now and for a long time to come.However,there are a large number of old communities in our country.Due to the early completion of these communities,there are many problems such as insufficient road accessibility,insufficient activity space,low greening rate,and lack of barrier-free facilities.Negative impact.Therefore,it is an extremely urgent task with social significance to carry out suitable aging transformation of old communities,improve the quality of the living environment of the elderly,and achieve sustainable development of the living environment.This article takes the elderly population as the research object,and takes the physiological,psychological,behavioral characteristics and needs of the elderly population as the starting point,and conducts a series of researches on the aging reformation of the residential landscape under the home care mode.The author summarizes the theoretical and practical research and exploration carried out at home and abroad through literature data method,practical case method and questionnaire survey method,analyzes the changing characteristics of the elderly group and the different needs of the elderly group for the landscape environment,and uses the multidisciplinary theory to cross The research method proposes a systematic aging reconstruction strategy for the residential entrance space,road and parking system,activity space,and itemized design.In addition to theoretical research,this article applies theory to practice.Taking the dormitory east courtyard of the Taiyuan Machine Tool Plant in Shanxi Province as an example,the overall landscape planning,traffic design,functional organization,and identification,lighting,color,plant configuration,and barrier-free facilities of the community The landscape design of public facilities and other sub-items is designed for ageing reconstruction,which proves the reference and feasibility of the research results.The research results and design work of this article can enrich the current research on residential landscape design and promote the development of residential landscape design.At the same time,this topic can be used as an integral part of the research on suitable aging design to provide assistance for the research on the aging of the elderly and the population.
