The integral assembly steel-grid cassette structure is a new structure system which was put forward by Ma Kejian in 2010.It was got wide attention and research Because of its steel consumption is smaller than the traditional steel structure,as well as the superior ductility and seismic performance.The current study of Cassette structure are mainly concentrated in the seismic behavior of the structure as a whole.The research on the seismic performance of the connection node is still at its early stage,especially on the weak axis which the T section of the upper and lower chords is directly connected to the column web plate and the theoretical analysis and design more difficult.So the mechanical performance and failure mechanism research of the beam-column connection node at weak axis under circulating load has important theoretical significance for the study of structure analysis of the whole.In order to study the seismic resistance of intersection joints of vierendeel sandwich plate with column at weak axis in integral assembly steel-grid cassette structure.Two composite side column joints and one bare steel side column joints were conducted.The experimental phenomenon,failure process,load bearing capacity,hysteric curve,ductility and energy dissipation were investigated and analyzed.ABAQUS was used to calculate and compare with the test results,as well as to simulate the joints with different constructional measures.Results show that,the composite joint and bare steel joint of vierendeel sandwich plate with column at weak axis in integral assembly steel-grid cassette structure have good seismic resistance.The loading bearing capacity and energy dissipation of composite joints were improved because of the compression action of concrete slab and tension action of steel bar.The stiffening rib in the upper and lower chords is helpful to improve the bearing capacity,ductility and energy dissipation capacity of the node.The width of the stiffening rib is suggested 1.5 times the height of vierendeel in engineering practice.The circular arc form stiffener rib has better bearing capacity and ductility of the same width.The Mechanical performance of upper and lower chords of node is Close to the truss element.The analysis shows that the upper and lower chords for H beam is more reasonable than T beam.
