Research On The Wood Structure Construction Technique Of Traditional Dwellings In Liancheng Hakka Region

This study mainly aims at the wood structure construction technique of traditional dwellings in the Western Fujian Liancheng hakka region.At present,the state protection of traditional architectural culture gradually from the material level of single building or group of protection gradually changes to the construction craft of non-material level protection.Bamboo pole has a very important role in the traditional southern wear bucket in building construction,Bamboo pole technology is the core of traditional wood structure construction technique and essence,In-depth study and discussion point at Bamboo pole skills is an important subject of saving wood structure construction technique,too.The wooden frameworks installation is different from the installation procedure of the North Bridge,it has its advantages as in the bucket structure.In this thesis,it interprets,analysises and researches on the traditional Bamboo pole skills in Liancheng hakka region by interviewing craftsmen,field survey and recording Bamboo poles,it illustrated the interpretation and drawing processgeneral process of the Bamboo pole technology and the design idea of the craftsman in the back of it in Liancheng hakka region.Sorting out the general process and excavating the principle of Liancheng Hakka traditional architecture wooden frameworks installation by the long-term,continuous,dynamic recording process on it.First part of this thesis is general introduction,such as the research background,purpose and significance,research object identified as craftsman and the architecture designed by them,after that,it’s the research method and related literature review,etc.Secondly,it’s the summary of the Liancheng hakka traditional dwellings,Starting from the natural environment,gives a general description about the plane shapes,the timber-framed style of traditional residence and general procedures of traditional house building.From above into the core part,including traditional master carpenter techniques inherited,concepts and drawing of the Bamboo pole skills and traditional dwellings wooden structure components manufacture and installation three parts.Artisan planting technique mainly include learning skills,working way,drawing type and design consideration,etc.At last,in the epilogue of above research content of each part to do further distilled and refined,concludes the research results of this thesis,points out the inadequacies of the pending further studies.
