In our country with a vast territory,a long history and rich architectural culture,traditional houses are characterized by different and diverse regions.In the past,the researchers in our country focused on traditional residential areas mainly in the "brick-roofed buildings" represented by the Central Plains,the "dry-shelled" buildings represented by stilts in the southwestern minority areas and the "yurt" in the nomadic northern areas.Construction and other forms of dwelling houses,while the traditional stone dwellings less.Taihang Mountain has a special mountain terrain which makes the formation of a more unique geographic units,but also created a unique type of stone buildings.The traditional stone residential houses in Taihang Mountain are the architectural forms with regional culture inherited by generations and even decades of people in Taihang Mountains.They are the crystallization of the wisdom of local people in Taihang Mountain and are an indispensable part of the heritage of Chinese traditional residential buildings.The architectural style and spatial morphology of the stone-built dwelling houses in Taihang Mountain area have extremely strong regional and ecological characteristics and have certain research value.However,with the accelerating process of urbanization,a large number of traditional villages have been demolished,and a large number of traditional stone residential buildings have gradually been replaced by "rural villas" with concrete structures and painted brick walls.Traditional stone houses disappear at the same time,accompanied by the culture of stone dwellings also will disappear.In order to avoid the complete decline of residential culture,it is necessary to carry on the regeneration design of traditional stone residential buildings.This is not only to save the residential culture gradually disappear,but also to continue the inheritance and development of traditional residential culture.In this paper,Dangshen County,Hebei Province,Taihang Mountains is located in the village of Dangquan as the main research area,Taihang Mountain area as a regional background,the concrete layout of Dangquan village traditional stone residential buildings,spatial characteristics,the existing state of investigation and research Based on the respect of the local stone residential building characteristics to explore its regeneration design research.First of all,This chapter introduces the natural background and cultural background of the Dangquan Village residential area in Dangshu Mountain,and briefly analyzes the historical evolution process of Dangquan Village residential area.Secondly,the author of Dangquan village status quo,when the main types of stone village residential finishing,and Dangquan village stone residential typical examples of residential survey,measurement,mapping and analysis,In order to elaborate the spatial characteristics of stone houses.By the questionnaire and the form of interview,we understand and analyze the main problems when Dangquan village stone houses and the villagers' views and demands on the design of stone dwellings regeneration,and discuss and summarize the significance and design principles of the design.Finally,Taking the above content as the theoretical support,we select the Wujia Erheyuan in Dangquan Village as an example to carry out the design of regeneration.By the investigation of the present situation of the traditional stone residential houses in Dangquan Village in Taihang Mountain Area and the research on the regeneration design of the Wujiaerheyuan Courtyard,the paper discusses the development prospects and the protection of the contemporary residential areas.Hoping this research and traditional residential regeneration design to make some contribution.
