Renovation Design Of The Bed And Breakfast Of The Stone-built Houses In Shangjiushan Village, Zoucheng

As the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has proposed the strategy of rural revitalization,a model of Qilu revitalization in rural areas is being built in Shandong Province.The protection,activation and revitalization of ancient villages is an important task.With a history of over a thousand years,Shangjiushan Village in Zoucheng City is typical of the historical remains with stone dwellings,which makes it a veritable stone village.The tourism development and construction of Shangjiushan Village is mainly to promote the ecological culture concept of“Harmony between Heaven and Man”,to show the folk culture under the influence of Confucius and Mencius,to retain memories and nostalgia,and to realize the continuation of traditional culture.Focusing on the design of home-stay hotels transformed from “Liuhe Courtyard” of the stone dwellings in Shangjiushan Village,this thesis aims to provide specific cases for the protection and revival of traditional villages and stone dwellings.This thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical discussion and practical design.In the first part,the first chapter introduces the research background,significance,present situation,research innovation and methods.The second chapter defines the concepts of traditional dwellings and stone dwellings and analyzes the current situation of stone dwellings in central and southern Shandong Province.Besides,concepts and excellent cases of home-stay hotels are provided.The protection and innovative utilization of stone dwellings in central and southern Shandong Province are faced with different difficulties.The transformation of dwellings into home-stay hotels is an effective way to protect traditional dwellings.In home-stay hotels,the owner provides free rooms for visitors who can experience the local life and humanistic feelings.Nowadays,the development of rural home-stay hotels is booming in China.While improving the satisfaction of tourists,it helps to increase the income of villagers and inherit the traditional culture so as to make efforts to build beautiful villages.In the second part,the third chapter investigates the general situation of Shangjiushan Village,the characteristics of stone dwellings and cultural characteristics.It also analyzes factors influencing the transformation of stone dwellings into home-stay hotels.The fourth chapter chooses the practical design of the residential reconstruction on “Liuhe Courtyard” in Shangjiushan Village,which is the original representative of the simple folk customs and families.Thetransformation and design of “Liuhe Courtyard” adhere to the concept of harmony and embodies the ideal concept of harmonious existence among the heaven,the earth and the residents.While following the nature and inheriting characteristics of the“Liuhe Courtyard”,it also focuses on integrating traditional culture and local customs.In terms of transformation style,space layout,building materials,decorative style,landscape design etc.,it not only inherits the essence of stone dwellings,but also gives a new life to the building and conveys the spirit of the times.
