Research On The Application Of Glulam In Temporary Architectural Design

With the ensuing energy and environmental problems,people began to advocate the concept of green ecological architecture,and wood as ecological building materials,return to the people's vision,got worldwide attention.A growing number of research institutes and architect put in the research and practice of wood.With the advancement of processing technology and construction means of timber,there has been a large number of new engineering wood products,constitute a rich variety of wooden structure system.Wherein Glulam as a kind of superior performance structural materials,has the largest application potential,and the most widely used.In recent decades,the application of Glulam has become increasingly prevalent and mature in developed countries and regions.However,in China,the modern wood frame technology has only just begun.The application of Glulam is still in the exploratory stage in China,and the literature related to Glulam is mostly technical type of research on material properties,without in-depth study of the use of Glulam from the point of view of architectural design,which brought great difficulties to the specific application.In this paper,from the perspective of architectural design,taking specific construction cases as the research object,the author carries on these analysis from design concept to construction,hopes to provide an effective reference for the application of Glulam in China.This paper is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background,purpose and significance,research object and perspective,research status,research methods and difficulties,and research framework.In the second chapter,the related concepts and material properties of Glulam are discussed in the paper.In the third chapter,the specific application mode of the Glulam in the contemporary architectural design case is analyzed in detail from the project background to the structure design strategy.In the fourth chapter,the author introduces the principle of the detail construction from the perspective of the transfer of the structural components,and then analyzes the specific practices,and carries on the appropriate extension.In the fifth chapter,the design performance of glued timber buildings is summarized.The sixth chapter is the conclusion part,the problem of the application of Glulam is added,and the trend of Glulam application is summarized.Finally,it points out the shortcomings of this study.The whole thesis contains about 57680 words,143 pictures and charts.
