Partially-restrained Steel Frame with Concealed Vertical Slits RC Infill Walls(PSRCW)is an innovative composite structural system,it is a new type of composite structure, embedding the reinforced concrete shear wall in the steel frame structure through the shear connections, the structure will be formed as a whole. This structure can give full play to lightweight, high strength and deformation ability of the steel structure, and anti-lateral stiffness of reinforced concrete wall,it can also solve the problem that traditional shear wall structure is difficult to be repaired at the bottom after the earthquake. At present, seismic design specifications of most countries in the world are still based on the seismic design theory of strength, and overstrength coefficient is a key parameter of the seismic design based on the bearing capacity.PSRCW has a wide application prospect in China's seismic fortification area as a new type of composite structure. To promote its engineering applications, its overstrength coefficient is needed to quantifed clearly to design it reasonably. In this paper, the finite element analysis method is adopted, the randomness of material properties and the actual ground motion are considered. The main factors such as the number of structural layers, seismic intensity and span are are considered, the overstrength coefficient of PSRCW is quantified and researched systematically, this research can provide a reference for PSRCW's theoretical research and engineering applications. The main centent of this research is as follows:(1)According to the seismic design of China, considering the influence of structural layer(5,10,15 layers),seismic fortification intensity(7,8,9 degrees)and span(with wall span 5.7m,6.6m,7.8m),a two-stage design method is used to design the seven standard example models;(2)On the basis of the standard example models, considering the randomness of the mechanical properties of concrete, steel bar and steel, the Latin hypercube sampling method is used to extend the example models;(3)The Pushover analysis method is used to quantify the overstrength coefficient of PSRCW;(4)The incremental dynamic time history analysis method is used, considering the randomness of ground motion, the overstrength coefficient of PSRCW is researched;(5)Comparing the overstrength coefficient of PSRCW with two methods.
